That was when Henning was calling the plays though. I haven't seen a screen work like that yet with Davidson calling the plays. I'm sure it's somehow Fox and Delhommes fault though. Nevermind that they were both here in 06.

What is it in the play calling that doesn't allow Davidson to set those plays up? It sure would be nice to run a successful screen, shovel or swing pass once in a while.

yeah, how Davidson doesn't have some legit RB screens designed into his playbook is crazy. Look at the damage they can do around the league (Steve Slaton this past week comes to mind).

Lots of that is set up by the QB. Jake gets a lot of blame around here but he has always sucked at setting up screen plays from day 1. Even under Henning we were terrible at them

The only problem with this theory is,Jake did hit him on a good route, and he was wide open, but that is the only game we have against the Redskins. So if we don't get to the playoff's and the Redskin's don't make it, it will be hard for Jake and Hall to get into a groove and put up the type of numbers to get them to the probowl.
