Or give big(or even decent) money extensions to aging Vets. See Olsen + many other times it's fuged us.

As much as we love Olsen we can't have large chunks of old ass money sitting on the sideline. Just not what winning teams do.

True but fwiw, McC being a top 10 pick is pretty big investment.

But it's like having two investments since he could literally be a slot WR and him in the short passing game is invaluable.
