To be fair...Dallas isn't very good offensively.  But at least we held them to only one score.

For the most part we shut down Zeke. That's something to hang your hat on, he's gashed some good defenses.

Cam throws for under 200 yards, Offensive line looked like poo, Cam was our leading rusher, receivers can't get open, go conservative with a small lead only to let the opposition right back in it with a chance to win it at the end. Oh and don't even get me started on Amini.

Can we please have Riverboat Ron back.

You could literally watch the game and tell when Norv was running the offense and when Ron made the call to tone it down and milk that clock. Same thing with the bullshit prevent defense. It is pretty clear now that the majority of issues with this team that drive us all nuts stem from Rivera.

Yes I am glad we won but the injuries sucked and I just can't help but feel demoralized after that. This team would be absolutely fuged without Cam.

It’s the nfl and a really good defense. Give it a rest.

man I hate that.

poo feels the same and u just know the game is gonna be a nail biter when it shouldn't have been close. the cmac fumble helped towards that.

same getting into the red zone and cant score. cant stand that poo.

still poor clock management.

still poor oline for cam, even though they were okay with Williams vs DeMarcus Lawrence n co.

And where is DJ moore in the game plan??? What the use of having a 1 round wr and  to not using him at all?

I see the same delusional fans in this thread falling for the same bullshit agenda this team shows. The op is right same song and dance, matt ryan might throw for 4 tds next week while offense struggles to score 2 touchdowns. Rivera cant get out of his damn way cuz he doesnt know another one.

offense looked alright for being the first game of a newly installed system with lives bullets flying.

Exactly! Without Olsen, Samuel, a hobbled Williams, first time starter in Roten, & Moton playing Left Tackle first time in a real game. Against a food Dline. Chill you fair bandwagon fans

The Falcons scored 12 points.  Ryan had zero TDs and completed less than 50% of his passes with an interception. Do you pay any attention or just whine ignorantly?

    • Too late to edit above but the quote is from this Diane Russini article in the Athletic: https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/5941684/2024/11/23/russinis-what-im-hearing-the-day-the-jets-fell-apart-and-the-broncos-rallied-belichick-best-fits/ Okay.. there you have sorry I left that out the first post.  Also waivers keep the contract intact. That is the major difference in released and waived. It's all in that link from the other post.
    • Okay so I am reading something in The Athletic and it says that Jones had to pass through waivers. So I don't know. I looked this stuff up when we were number one there all offseason and I thought it said 4 years in the league got you vested, as they call it.  Vested gets you out of waivers as I understood it. I probably got something wrong, but when I think about the slack quality of journalism these days I wonder about that. So I went and looked, again. Well, well.  For everyone: "When a player has accrued at least four seasons in the NFL, they are considered a vested veteran. When these vested veterans get cut, they are released and their contract is terminated. When a vested veteran is released, they are an unrestricted free agent that can sign with any NFL team, and the team that released them doesn’t need to provide any additional compensation." It runs it all down here, where the quotes came from: https://www.profootballnetwork.com/waived-vs-released-nfl/ As far as Jones, the team turned down his 5th year option so I knew that meant he had 4 years in, because they re-signed him anyway, after turning down the much cheaper extra year.  The Athletic is owned by the New York Times so I shouldn't be surprised. That paper was an institution once upon a time but they let their standards go.
