Will Steve Smith get a reverse in the MILDCAT?

No, because when the Panthers run the wildcat, they want the defense to know there is no other option but to run it up the middle. They don't want to do like the Dolphins and make the defense have to take into account different options.

The Dolphins run it up the middle quite a bit, and rarely throw out of the formation. It's a matter of execution, not trickery -- defenses know what they're going to do, and they still can't stop it.

I would love to see us get creative.

How about this, have Smith line up in the backfield as RB and Williams line up as WR. This would cause the LB's to cover Smith out of the backfield. If the DB's cheats his way just a little then Williams would be wide open on a go route. If the DB's don't cheat then Smith can catch a screen for big yardage. Just another way to work Smith in for more touches.

Who cares about the Wildcat? You all have bought into the Medias hype. Unless a team is willing to stack the roster with guys that fit it (like Miami) it is nothing more then something to make the other D gameplan against. With us it is nothing more then a joke mascaraing as potential Offense. I would much rather see us get more creative out of the Jumbo package.
