If our offense looks like this by week 4 or so, I’m not even against making Moore a #1. In Funch’s defense though he is neither a #1 receiver nor a speedster. Today we had him on some go routes like we did with Benjamin. Insanity is doing the same thing expecting different results

we're going to have to get used to the idea of not having too many repeat 100 yard guys. it seems like norv really wants cam to move away from fixating on his top targets and just make the quick reads and trust his playmakers. funchess had a terrible first half, but it's a little soon to freak out on that. it's true that rhythm in an offense doesn't come right away. if he's still rusty by the end of the 4th game, it will be a problem.

It's game number 1 with Norv running the offense, these things take some time, although Cam looked good for majority of this game. In the end, we won, don't get your panties in a bunch.

Funch got better as the game progressed. First game of the season. He's going to be fine.

Good on him for owning up to a bad game. Let's hope he delivers on this promise. Rooting for him, he is a Panther after all.
