Midfield Logo promo video

Thing is, this entire deal is so much more than just midfield aesthetics. It’s about Tepper’s level of empathy.

He bought a team. He heard a simple request. He fulfilled it. With fanfare, to boot.

Dropping the video early on an Saturday football morning, as football fans are opening up social media with their morning coffee, was a stroke of genius.

Boy, is that well done.

Stuff like that is what helps turn a fanbase from "interested" to "invested". Or to put it another way, from normal fans into a bunch of half-sane, raging fanatics.

Brilliant.

It was well done. But if people suddenly give a damn because of new management and a video...were they really fans before? Its like saying i love hot wings...but really i didn't like hot wings until "Hot Ones" became a popular thing. The true fan base is creaming over Tepper. The vast majority of those wine/cheese sit down at the game fans so many like to complain about however?  They wont even notice the logo at midfield.

Agreed, and they framed it as such in the promo.

I bet you're fun at garden parties.
