It shifted north as expected

It shifted north, but it going to make a direct hit on NC. This is coming straight towards NC. We just better pray and hope for the best. Im headed to a high school shelter in Fayetteville. We rode it out when Fran hit in my old high school. Florence looks stronger than Fran. And we all know how scary Fran was...

Oh yea, def hitting NC.  Current model have it hitting Outer Banks, just 3-4 hour landfall and doing u-turn and going back into Atlantic, getting back to Cat 4 and hitting Wilmington. Crazy...  I doubt that will happen tho.

Basically there is a high pressure system in northern coastal NC and no one knows what will happen.

Brunswick County bout  half way tween NC and SC.

Somehow I missed this...

OK...  we're in ILM and watching it closely.  I'm here for now... my parents live in Columbus County so if it looks more threatening tomorrow, we'll go out there for it.

I know Kurb tweeted that he left town.  A lot of people that aren't on the beaches are... can't say I blame them.

My MiL lives in Carteret County and is refusing to leave. :(
