alcoholic offensive coordinator and a noodle armed qb is a bad combination. who knew????

18 games into the sarkisian era and ryan just put up arguably his worst game with him. you'd think he'd be getting better as he gets more comfortable with his new coordinator but it's probably the opposite. but hey, maybe you're right, maybe ryan just cannot function against the leading contender for the nfc championship. surely that bodes well for your team's future.

We are 1 game into the season. If the Falcons offense continues to stuggle in the red zone then Sark will be gone. And Ryan sucks vs Philly but is undefeated vs them in Atlanta. Falcons own GB and Rodgers recently...doesn’t mean their future is bleak.

aaron rodgers has hall of fame talent. how dare you invoke his name in defense of matt ryan. oh and your struggles in the red zone predate thursday night's game. you don't get to just push that to the side. if you want sympathy go back to your team's message board. im only interested in twisting the knife.

btw over his last 8 games matt ryan has completed 58.4% of his passes for 236 yards per game. 6 touchdowns and 5 interceptions. he also flunked the eye test thursday night. looked absolutely terrible. how much are yall on the hook for again? shanahan was way more valuable to your offense than matt fugin ryan lol

I don’t care about sympathy. I laugh when people freak out about one game.

And yet Ryan has won 65% of his games without Shanahan but Shanahan is way more valuable lol good joke.

because nfl games aren't 1v1 quarterback battles dummy. rodgers is several tiers above ryan. there's a lot more to evaluating quarterbacks than w/l record and counting stats. ryan has looked like ass here recently and it's not because of a lack of weapons. and unless sarkisian broke his arm then he can't take the blame for those ducks he was throwing thursday night. imagine if ryan had a league average supporting cast instead of a hall of fame game-breaking receiver, an average sanu, a 1st round receiving talent who was likely the most polished in his class, and a pretty good back in freeman. falcons offense is a bizarro world mirror of the panthers. where carolina landed on a generational talent at qb whose abilities have masked the deficiencies in his supporting cast, atlanta has built a good supporting cast that has masked the deficiencies at qb. good thing you're definitely stuck with that for the life of ryan's extension lol.

going forward he definitely is. ryan is holding the falcons offense back. you're wasting a hall of fame talent at wr because ryan can't stop staring him down outside of the redzone and can't acknowledge he exists inside the redzone. then the odd time that he does see him he can't put it on him. it's easier for ryan to hit jones between the 20s because there's plenty of room for jones to flag down his ducks while out-leaping the entire defense. redzone requires skill that ryan does not possess and it fills me with joy.

my concern is with the injured player, not your shitty team. if you think that's classless then that says a lot about you. how about you show some support for the man who maybe didn't have to blow his knee out????

“but hey, maybe you're right, maybe ryan just cannot function against the leading contender for the nfc championship. surely that bodes well for your team's future.

Is your quote dummy. Where am I’m comparing Ryan and Rodgers? Lmao

Julio is #1 in NFL history in yards per game but apparently Ryan is holding him back? Lmao

So 2012 and 2016 surprisingly are the only 2 years in the last 6 years that the Falcons weren’t top 5 in drops. What happend in those years?? Falcons went to the NFC Championship in 2012 and Super Bowl in 2016. If Ryan’s receivers aren’t dropping passes the Falcons go far. Yet you say Ryan is holding them back? Lol So your lazy evaluations and small sample sizes mean nothing.

Aaron Rodgers > Matt Ryan,... that’s not even close.  Aaron Rodgers doesn’t have Julio Jones either,..

is there a stat line that shows how many games that Ryan folded in the last quarter in big moments?  Does great when it’s not on the line,....

Im not sure why you keep comparing Ryan and Rodgers. That’s not the point and you know it. And don’t act like Rodgers doesn’t have good receivers.

Most 4th quarterback comebacks:

Matt Ryan - 26 (11th all time) Every QB ahead of him has played more than 10 seasons.

if you look closely you can see steve sarkisian on the sideline shooting poison darts into matt ryan's throwing shoulder.

dammit sark! stop calling the "helplessly throw up a wounded duck" play! it's not working!!!!!

come on generational talent julio jones! expand your catch radius by 10 fuging yards and catch that shitty rainbow!!!

You’re right seasons over! Might as well pack it up after after struggling (really just in the red zone) week 1 against an elite defense on the road.

Philly’s Dline was in Ryan’s face all night which clearly affected him but that’s something you don’t like to mention.

matt ryan has always had a noodle arm. he needs a clean pocket, top tier talent and a first rate playcaller to compete for a championship. even then he's prone to getting 28-3'd. he's the best game manager in the game though, bar none. i'd cut heinicke for him. not at that salary though.

Hey noodle arm is the fastest QB ever to 40,000 passing yards and his 260 passing touchdowns is 3rd all time in 10 seasons. I’ll take it!

Even with playing with trashing defenses most of his career (Falcons D was trash until Quinn was hired) and the Falcons being top 5 in drops 4 of the last 6 years he is still 95-64 overall.

Your team sucked ass even with a weak Philly team. Ryan poo the bed with minimal pressure and JJ couldn't catch a cold when it mattered. Your so called elite D got carved up by a backup without his top WR and you got ran threw with the run game. And then how do you lose to this so called elite defense when you win the turnover battle and gain more yards? I can tell you how your team sucks ass and will be last place in this division. Oh and TB is still going to sweep you.

General comment: Fourth quarter comebacks are a really funny stat. They show that you were clutch enough to come back and win and all that, but tied into that is the unfortunate truth that it also means you played badly enough in the first three to be losing going into the fourth.

You’re obviously trolling

1. Ryan was sacked 4 times (but that’s minimal pressure?)

2. Julio had 169 yards plus a bs 52 yard catch that was ruled incomplete (but he couldn’t catch a cold?)

3. Falcons defense gave up 18 points and 232 total yards (that is getting carved up? lmao)

4. And Philly has a weak team? Pretty sure they just won the SB and return most players from that team

Julio puts up HOF stats,..

except when it matters,... just like Matt Ryan,..

maybe a cultural thing with Atlanta?
