With Samuel Out....who takes his role

I am sure that Samuel had a big role in our offense.

Byrd and Smith are speedsters but really not in the mold of Samuel.

It will be interesting to see how Norv's gameplan is with Samuel out.

Nobody knows what his role would’ve been. We still have 5 capable WRs with a perfect mix of skill sets.

Based on his skill set and his preseason performance, I definitely think he would have had a role.

Samuel was WR4, not sure what role you expected of him. The coaches were even surprised to see his revival. He is a luxury. 

We will have plays designed for Moore, but don't expect Moore to go out there and run the deep cross field routes or back shoulder throws.

The article last week about Samuel play RB and WR makes me think Moore is similar.

While Moore wasn't a RB in college his WR with RB mentality after the catch could mean he could take some of that role.  Other than being a rookie I think he could get some touches.

There was a thread last week asking if DJ would be active Sunday, which basically argued that Samuel had outplayed him in the preseason. While most agreed that DJ would have been active anyway, this development certainly puts that question to rest. I hope Moore takes the opportunity to ball the fug out!
