How Confident Are You That We Will Win (or Lose) Against the Cowboys?

Just curious what people are thinking about this game. Post any of your thoughts here . 

Its kinda hard to gauge the Cowboys this year being that Zeke and Dak barely played at all during the Pre-Season.

- I think they have a great run game and o line but we have a very good run stopping Dline with excellent LBs. That seems like a wash to me. 

- Dak is no savant passing the ball downfield but our DBs are largely unproven and haven't been good overall as a unit since 2015. So this is also a wash to me.

- Our run game mainly featuring CMC hasn't been displayed in a live game, Cowboys Dline is pretty good and our oline is kinda in shambles, i would give the edge to cowboys in that reguard

- Our pass game is not amazing from last year but it should be pretty solid based on the personell and a better OC. Dallas secondary is never great. I give the Panthers the edge tehre. 

- The Cowboys coaching staff doesn't strike me as genius, but Norv turner hasn't called a live game for us yet, so this is also hard to judge.

- I voted 75 percent but I feel more like its 50 or 60 percent because of all the unknown factors.

Same as usual for a week one. You can never get a real sense of how good or bad a team is going to be until you see the live bullets playing.

I’d say 60-70%. I feel 100% certain that we are better than the Cowboys and that we have an advantage playing at home. However, we’re known for giving games away and have 3 new coordinators in place as well as a lack of cohesion along the OL. 

We definitely should win, but that doesn’t mean much.

I'm at 75%. Dallas has talent (especially OL) but I don't think they have their poo together enough to deal with our (hopefully) improved offense in a road game.

I voted for the 75% choice. Although I think I would want 60% choice if it was available. Think we should win because we have the players to handle the Cowboys run game extremely well and get to Dak.  

Our offense is very new, unproven, using CMC as the primary RB for the first time, and having Torrey Smith and Jarrius Wright, and also a new offensive coordinator , a cobbled together Oline, there's a lot up in the air in terms of our offense.

And also our secondary, as has become the norm since 2015 ended, we have no idea what we're going to get out of them.

I am 90% confident. It may be misplaced, and I'll certainly find that out on Sunday, but the way we looked in the preseason simply reinforces my opinion that we could very well see a record-setting season from our offense. I've never seen us look quite this good in the preseason and knowing that was a vanilla offense has me feeling very good about our prospects.

Shula's gone. We've had decent blocking in the preseason save a few plays, so I think Cam will be okay. We have a WR corps. Our D is stacked up front and I like our young guys in the secondary.

I am 50/50. I know alot of ppl here are pinning hopes on the new system/CMC/etc etc offensive pieces...but in the end all of that revolves around Cam. I was all into the new system until I saw Cam play action run and fall on his fuggin head!! After this many years in the league he is STILL doing that mess! I said to myself at that moment i hope he broke his neck and will get out so someone else can come in and take over.

Cam will lead us to where Cam will lead us. That might be to a superbowl. It might be to another 7-9 season. Everyone wants to say Cam is such and athlete, and a leader: Now is D-day!! The honeymoon is over. Its time for Cam to wise up. The playful child persona is old now. Its time to be a man and leader. 

If Cam plays like a man this deep in the league as a QB? We win. If Cam plays like a child having fun like a homecoming game?We lose

It’s week 1, but one side of the football is gonna take it to them in a big way. I think this team comes out hot and energized.

I'm at 90% due to the fact that we SHOULD win this game but then again, something crazy may happen. My prediction has the score close with the Panthers eking out a win.

We are the better and more talented team, but Marinelli is an EXCELLENT DC.  So we gotta avoid mistakes because the Cowboys don’t turn it over much.
