It's amazing the number of fans that are mad at a man for going and getting another job after getting fired. Equally amazing is not understanding why man might feel bitter for awhile after being fired. Also equally amazing is not expecting an eventual homecoming. All those stats on the books, the vast majority of them came in a Panthers jersey. Steve knows that his NFL legacy is rooted in Carolina. No one remembers Joe Montana as a Chief or Emmitt Smith as a Cardinal.

I think he's still facing a three game suspension if he does come back... but I'd take him back immediately as well.
