The team is expecting a record number of visiting fans for a home opener on Sunday

Cool, I hope the thousands of Dallas fans that come spend tons of money in NC/SC, have a great time until Sunday afternoon, then be disappointed terribly in their team, then spend a couple hundred more bucks buying drinks and dinners while waiting for their flights back home.

Be nice to them, they're spending tons of money and they're here to see their team lose.

I'll never forget when I was having lunch uptown one day in September of 2015 and the guy seated behind me had a Houston Texans shirt on. He told the waitress "Here in town to see the Panthers lose." I turned around and said "you'll be waiting a while."

I was at the '03 playoff game against the Cowboys. I sat in front of a lone douche bag yelling "How bout 'dem Cowboys" every play until around the 2nd quarter. Around the end of the game when it was clear the game was over I turned around and yelled "How 'bout them Cowboys" right in his face. I really hope Panthers fans get that opportunity on Sunday.

It's easy to complain about these scenarios when the Panthers lose those home games but as bad as that sucks to have to listen to these opposing fans in our stadium, it is that much better to listen to them STFU when we start thumping them. 

And, as many have pointed out, they are dumping money into the local economy so it isn't that bad of a deal. Now, any local Cowboys fans should be tarred and feathered at the gates.
