I would like to talk about this Matt Kalil situation

Either way, Matt Kalil is the biggest roster love mistake this franchise has made since Sean Gilbert.

People can knock Hurney and have the right to, but Gettleman letting go of Norman and signing Matt Kalil to that contract are 2 of the worst moves in franchise history, and certainly as egregious as anything Hurney has ever done.

That's not unprecedented. When Vick signed his second 100 mil deal with the eagles, after the guaranteed money was gone, the eagles reworked his deal and 60 mil in potential salary just disappeared.

It’s disgusting this is how the franchise has been run until this point and even further more fans were ok with it (they seemed to have all ‘disappeared’ on here since JRs scandal).

after this year it will feel great to cleanse this team of the past era and finally move on from TD, Rkalil, hopefully Hurney. Wafford. Bias marketing. poo, even down to the monotonous game day routine/stadium ever. Every. Single. Game day. Your franchise starts to die with that BS. 

I’ve never seen a franchise cling on so much such as JRs regime.

You must not remember just how giddy Gettleman was after signing Kalil. He certainly didn't act like a man who was forced to do something against his will. Just out of curiosity though, did Richardson pull the strings on only the bad moves or the good ones as well? The way some of you people romanticize Dave is truly bizarre.

You're not wrong. I can't disagree with Gettleman for not paying Norman's asking price, be we absolutely should've let him play out the season under the tag. Yanking the tag out from under Norman when we did sent the locker room reeling and hurt us in terms of morale and chemistry every bit as much as it hurt us on the field.

Gettleman has always been a big Shula advocate. He went to Shurmer with the endorsement. Or are we just supposed to believe it's coincidence that once G-man left we got rid of Shula and he just so happened to end up where Dave went.

   Which would involve paying him 7M sometime. And considering it becomes guaranteed on the 3rd day of 2019if he’s on the roster, or if he is injured, what possible reason would we throw more money down this hole by giving him one more cent.

Makes perfect sense. Richardson's meddling makes evaluating Hurney and Gettleman moves more difficult.
