No Kyle Friend either who got some 1st team reps in camp and Jeremy liked.

We all wanted a friend.  I think Allen was interesting---

Was he THAT bad?

We signed DE Kiante Anderson instead.

Stoked that we were able to keep Frazier, Vander Laan, Hearn, Johnson, Norton, Luke, Bonnafon, and Southward.

Surprised by the Anderson signing over Hall, also surprised by Kyle Allen getting a spot as well. Guessing that he'll make room for Andre Smith or whomever else the Huddle assumes gets cut.

Only real surprise is no Lorenzo Doss. Not sure if he's been signed anywhere else...

I imagine Blaine Clausell was in our plans, but Arizona claimed him.

Doss???  I mean how many times did we hear Luke's name mentioned during Camp/Preseason???

what a massive bust hall is, out of the league in 1 year it seems.

Clearing waivers doesn't mean he's out of the league. A team will take a shot on him with a non-guaranteed contract which they now can since he's a free agent.

  • QB Kyle Allen
  • RB Reggie Bonnafon
  • WR Mose Frazier
  • TE Jason Vander Laan
  • G Taylor Hearn
  • OL Dorian Johnson
  • DE Kiante Anderson
  • DT Kendrick Norton
  • CB Cole Luke
  • S Dezmen Southward
  •

Though Allen did well against the bottom tier players he seems very poised.

Frasier is our next Byrd.  If we lose one of our WRs I won't be worried about bringing him up to the 53.

Bonnafon - Hood was probably destined for this position but got hurt.

Vander Laan - could be a solid player with some extra time learning from the master Olsen

Hearn - as good as any we kept

Johnson - from what I have read is a great pick up and surely will be promoted if anyone goes down.

Anderson - I don't know much about

Norton - Didn't hear much about him but Washington must see something to keep him

Luke - Will get some more teaching and I would be surprised to see him up as well if one of our DBs goes down

Southward - Same as Norton
