How about this turn of events.  From the panthers view. 

With Kalil sidelined, Taylor Moton will continue to work as the starting left tackle. Daryl Williams, the starting right tackle who suffered a knee injury during camp, is "ahead of schedule" and could be available for Week 1.

    I hope they treat Williams like they did Samuel. Let him practice, then evaluate him the next day to see how he responds.

 

    Once he can practice 2, or more, days in a row. They can start thinking about giving him some game time. Hopefully, that is sooner, than later.

I wish we would let Williams rest until after the bye week. That would give him a month to ease back into things. The most likely scenario is us starting 2-1 and I would rather not rush Williams back and lose him for the season.
