I hate to bring in the facts, but it has been 5 weeks now. I know they’re we’re a lot of armchair medical evaluations, so I’m hoping everyone is being smart but I think that some think this was more recent. He’s starting some rehab. It may still take a few weeks. It wouldn’t surprise me at all if he starts after the bye. Before the bye I’ll be surprised but game 4 is 5 more weeks away and 2.5 months from injury.

Yeah I don't think he would be pushing that after 5 weeks if he tore his MCL.

Holy poo!

Please God let him be healed.

Moton Van Roten Kalil Turner Williams

Now that is a NFL line right there!

I would love to see that too but unless Silatolu gets hurt he will be starting. What a waste to keep playing this man, he truly sucks.

Severe MCL sprains doesn't require surgery and can heal within 6-8 weeks with proper rehab and treatment because the ligament has very good blood supply. The patellar dislocation can also be rehabbed but will eventually and most likely require surgery because of a ligament called the MPFL that commonly gets torn when the patella dislocates. As of right now, we are at week 6 since the injury initially occurred.

Guessing he returns after the bye.  There is a difference between frontal motion than when you start sliding and doing lateral moves.  Then there is the conditioning factor.  I am just guessing based on experiences with teammates in college years ago.  Who knows?

Yeah, he’s not even a warm body. We all know you lose something going to a backup but Amini is a liability. I watched him get thrown around but Short twice at Fan Fest in only handful of plays. One was enough that he almost fell into Cam’s leg. How many times was Matt Kalil beaten last year? Dozens. Was he ever ragdolled to a point where he almost took out Cam’s knee? I don’t recall that. I don’t want Amini anywhere near our QB.

Amini is picked  up and deposited into the backfield Regularly.  I’ve never seen a OG unearthed  as much as he is. Terrible leverage and balance. But he’ll be starting if RR has his way
