I'm thinking an extra LB or two means special teams. 

Doss being signed helps. David Amerson has always been vastly overrated but I'd give him a look. Overall, we've known about these issues for a while. Always gonna have weak spots on the team.

our LBs kept are better than the DBs we didn’t. 

Plus we have TD on the shelf and IMO Luke’s injury history could play apart in it too.   Wouldn’t surprise me to see them get more vet days off this year.   They don’t really need the physical reps like some

better at getting destroyed by oppposing offenses, I agree

 

Last year we had 6 LB on the roster two of them didn’t even take a snap on defense Mayo played clean up and Shaq was in rotation getting burned every other week. TD and Luke when healthy play more snaps than everyone on our D.

Because of Shaq they see him as a hybrid with the amount of speed and versatility he brings to the defensive sets they use. If either of the new LB’s show up in Davis’ absence then that basically means Shaq will be almost like having another saftety. If Gaulden comes around then we might actually be in business.
