Oh I concur with you. My gripe with DG is he threw darts for CBs and barely drafted OL, Norwell was lottery hit for undrafted players. Safeties have been ignored in the draft but vet filled. DEs not much to complain from me besides the 2 misses Hall and Ealy. DG fixed the cap and gave us a chance. Hurney is looking like he showing growth from his time away but I am still cautious.

I'm not.

What honestly concerns me is what happens when Kalil returns from this injury.

If Moton has performed even halfway decent at left tackle, he should stay at LT. Knowing Rivera's history though, I'm not 100% confident that'll happen.

If you hit on a UDFA like Norwell, it stands to reason you won’t draft to that need. And it has been well established that the choices at OT haven’t even been there with the benefit of hindsight much less at the time.

Truth.

I had gotten to the point of tolerating his play by end of last season.

But then he looked hideous this preseason and vanishes after he got his ass whooped.

It's the combination of bad play, injuries and an attitude of being too fragile to meet with the press that has totally made me give up on him.

And Ryan is not exactly in my good graces either after sleeping funny, missing something like 8 games and never admitting what was going on.

I know athletes are entitled to privacy, but transparency does a lot more to endear you to the fan base.  Williams and Silatolu are out there doing stuff on the sidelines. Where's Matt?

Ron definitely seemed utterly fed up with him.

Prayers that Moton excels and stays healthy!

The saving grace potentially is that this is Oline, where continuity really matters, and Ron knows that. If whatever we are doing is working, Ron might not mess with it. Except perhaps bringing back Daryl Williams who presumably is better than Robinson and also in a contract year

Yeah but when you look at the top of that draft we were very lucky to get him.  It was bust city for most of the guys taken ahead of him.

I'd have to imagine it would still be Moton.

Flopping guys around like that can screw with your chemistry and continuity, but in our case it's probably still the best option.
