As much as I liked Star, we needed him to break through and become a playmaker on the DL for us. He scratched the surface, but can we really argue he was much beyond a solid above average run stopper and space eater? We needed more for a first rounder IMO.

Star ended up being a disappointment. I guess expectations can alter the view or value of something.

3 All-Pro OL( with a 3rd, 4th, and UDFA) and Moton is looking up. He didn’t draft Kalil. How is that bad? Do people truly believe that other teams hit on all their draft picks? Every team misses. A lot.

This is not a week by week thing. This sounds like a recurring injury that impacts his overall health and I believe the team is just playing coy. Once we’re out and under his contract, I wouldn’t be surprise if M. Kalil calls it a career.

Also, not saying our current OT's are going to win this battle...but Demarcus Lawrence and Randy Gregory going against Matt Kalil would've gotten Cam murdered.  The Dallas DE's are going to give us issues.
