My initial reaction when I heard about this story was "WTF??" but in hearing the context to which this attempt at humor for charity and in honor of a former, but well respected NFL colleague made me take a breath.

Then I accepted it for what it was, a slightly ill-timed attempt at humor but an honor to a former coach and friend.

Hugely uncomfortable for a Titans fan but if you can't laugh and are as tight as a drum and ready to explode about your current dismal situation as a head coach...how do you expect to turn the tables on a team that is spiraling down the porcelain? I think he needed some shock effect to get them out of their hole...not everyone will like the method but if this is the start of turning things around on the Titans...it might be considered genius or pure idiocy depending on the outcome.
