Opinon: Panthers interested in Robert Griffin

I believe he'll be cut.  The only reason I could see them keeping RGknee is if they plan on letting Flacco go after the season and turn everything over to Jackson.   RGknee would be in the same mold as Jackson and Baltimore would not have to change their offense too much.

Otherwise, keeping a 3rd QB with a starting caliber backup really only wastes a roster spot.

I would take him only as a free agent where we don't have to give up anything.

RGIII would not necessarily be the same as Cam but probably better than what we currently have as backups.

I know right!!! The way the media acted like RG3 and Luck were head and shoulders better than Cam and now both are fighting for their careers.   Cam meanwhile has an MVP and a Super BoWL appearance in his short career.
