Can't wait for the "What the other fans are saying" thread on the Cowboys because their fans are about as pessimistic as it gets right now.

Lol Cowboys zone is confident Dak is more accurate than Cam and their defense gets like 6+ sacks and assumes our defense won’t be much.

Lol.

How is that outlandish? Our tackles are unproven and our secondary is garbage. Most of you are in denial. If we hold them to under 20 with their shitty offense, then I think things will be okay.

It's outlandish when you take into consideration what the Cowboys have experienced as well. All-Pro guard Zack Martin is questionable, All-Pro center Travis Frederick is out indefinitely battling Guillain-Barre syndrome, right tackle La'el Collins is banged up, and and arguably their best lineman Tyron Smith is not a guaranteed thing after battling back injuries for the last two seasons.

They're banged up on the interior, which is where our DL is strong. Couple that with our bad ass LB corps, and I'm feeling good about our DEs against their (potentially) banged up bookends .As for our own offensive tackles, Taylor Moton at the very least at this point is more proven than Byron Bell and Nate Chandler combined so there's that.

In regards to our secondary, that's where the front 7 (6) come in. If we can get a pass rush going, our young corners will benefit greatly. Jackson is an upgrade over Worley, Bradberry is going into year 3 which I like better than year 2, and Munnerlyn despite preseason game 4 has shown time and time again he is a reliable nickel (and one of the best run stopping nickels). At this point the only difference is replacing Coleman with Searcy. That's just looking at us. Looking at the Cowboys, their WRs are Allen Hurns, Terrance Williams, Cole Beasley, Michael Gallup, and Tavon Austin. Gallup has been inefficient, Austin is a return man and that's it, Williams has been said at times to be behind Beasley, Beasley is a slot specialist, and Allen Hurns is no Dez Bryant. There's also no Jason Witten to worry about anymore either. The game literally comes down to whether or not Dak can carry the team or just hand it off to Zeke (which, if the OL is as busted up as it has been reported, he won't be able to).

Was it not Franklin that said it was better to be a pessimist, than an optimist? As a pessimist, if something goes bad, I can say "I told you so" and I get to feel good about myself. And if things go well, I can say "Yeehaw" and still get to feel good about myself.

So...even though you are a drain on folks' emotional well being. It is a win-win for you. So you have that going for you.

Well the common trend on their board is we only have to starters playing and that their defense is going to be draped on cam all night. They are in for a rude awakening with moton at LT and Williams at RT if healthy we are set if they can generate the kind of push that happened in the pats game you could only imagine as big as the holes were on the left side if we can do that on the right with Williams.

Its gonna be exciting to see what the offense can do. I also expect cams percentage to be above 60% for the game

I would be good with 2- 14 if we beat the cowboys and the steelers.  Then get the 1st pick in the draft. All that and the sure thing that every other year we are good means super bowl next year.

of course winning only 2 games would suck and I'd probably have to enter Alcohol anonymous after all the drinking I would do.

Here's an extreme question:

If we were destined to go 1-15 this season, would you rather that lone victory be against one of our division rivals, the Cowboys, or someone else?

If we can only win one game this year, I want it to be the home game against the Saints.
