The print at home tickets no longer being valid nearly kept me out of the game last week.  Fortunately, I had my email on my phone and was able to download the app and tickets into my son's phone.  Couldn't do it on mine because of the security settings.   But I don't see how that is an upgrade.

The digital only tickets is absolutely fuging annoying as hell. Pissed about that and it's fairly significant to me.

Being able to 'send' the e-ticket to another phone is the only true upgrade. Their app is annoying and doesn't always work right with the tickets so we go to the website on the phone (bookmarked it) and get the tickets that way.

Genuinely curious as to why? Do you keep the paper for nostalgia or something to that effect?

I don’t always carry a phone or device around that has access to internet or digital tickets, whatever is needed for that. I have never in my life presented any digital ticket or pass at concerts, airports, sporting events, etc. Always print it out from computer at office, get an actual paper ticket if applicable, or go to box offices. Never save tickets, printed or real. Maybe would if it was a SB ticket or something like that but nothing else. Unfortunately this is becoming the new reality and I’ve seen it coming but I’m not happy about it.

I can't see how this will work well with older fans. Some don't even have smart phones. And it will make getting tickets outside the stadium very difficult.

It does say on the panthers website to call the panthers office if you don't have a smart phone.  So I imagine they have some kind of work around.  Probably doesn't do you much good if you buy it from something like stubhub or seatgeek though.

You really wouldn't be happy about buying a 300 dollar ticket from a scalper and it being fake.  You know you can still use the paper tickets from the team right?  If it's that big of a deal just only deal with season ticket holders to buy your tickets.

I'm a fan of the no printed off ticket route. I've never once used my phone for entry to anything, but I've purchased my fair share of fake tickets. There's nothing worse then standing in line for 25 minutes, getting turned down, going to the box office, and being told they can't do anything except sell you some more, real tickets. It happened multiple times to be during my college years.

You can still buy real tickets from scalpers, so it's not the end of the world. However, it will screw some people over if they don't know the new rule. Spread the word!

I've never had a problem with a fake ticket. Don't buy from scalpers, only reputable ticket sellers.

I didn't know that the real paper tickets are still used or anything about this new practice until I saw this thread. That's good to know since it seemed like we did like the Broncos did and stopped printing those tickets and made it 100% digital entry. I live in Boston and have been to just 2 home games the past several years (many away games) so it wouldn't have been a huge huge deal to me anyways but definitely an annoyance if it was 100% digital.

Think that is the main reason for nonpaper.   They can see which seats are being sold on StubHub. Wouldn't surprise me in a few years they try to revoke their season tickets.

I would sue TF out of them! I own the PSL and it's my right to do what I want with my tickets. I live 10 hours away and there's no way I can make every game. I fly up actually but that's expensive.
