Calm your ass down.  I am not advocating giving up two firsts, but I would hope we're at least exploring the trade option of  something less.  If you don't like the topic, just ignore it, or do YOU want the attention?

And Mack is  Defensive End, how is that not the same position as Peppers?

We aren't. It's bad enough that he wants to break any contract that Donald signs but add picks on top of that and it's worse.

There's a reason why it's taking so long for Donald and Mack to get their money when their this elite.

I agree with the notion that the window with Cam and Luke is not going to be open forever.  We can't always be "building for the future" and need to take some calculated risks to get this team a Super Bowl.

While i dont think going after mack is a good move. I think its crazy how people still have this mentality around here after 8 years.

I would need a few questions answered before I would even consider it.

How many more years do we want Cam to be the face of the franchise?

How many more years do we think Cam is going to be a very good QB?

When are we going to have to pay Cam again?

I'm almost always a "play the long game" kinda fan..but I can see why some want to go all in.  However, if we plan to have Cam play for another 8 or so years, this isn't a move that we can make.  If we are moving on from Cam after this contract, it could possibly be a move we could make.

I'll keep Cam, and continue to try to win the Lombardi.

Two firsts is a starting place and final compensation could be more. He will also be expecting to get a monster contract as well. We have done a good job of developing guys like Addison and have young guys like Cox and Hall waiting for their chance. He is way too expensive at this point and is at a position of strength for us not weakness.
