I just hope Ron is over his delusion that Amini is a starter. Amini is a worst case scenario type player. He shouldn't be on an NFL roster. If he's on the field you better have a long list of guys on IR to justify it. Every time Amini is on the field, he's the lowlight of an opposing player's highlight.

I read that tweet differently to mean the choice was between simply keeping him as an active player on the roster and putting him on IR with the return designation and not a choice between IR and IR with the return designation. I hope my interpretation is correct.

Fua was kept around too long too but eventually Ron gave up—
