Why your team sucks Panthers

What else happened? Well, they lost a game by allowing Mitch Trubisky four terrifying completions. They lost Greg Olsen for 10 weeks. They shipped Kelvin Benjamin to Buffalo and, in true ex-Panther tradition, he wasted NO time dumping on the franchise after walking out the door. They got triple-swept by a division rival. Luke Kuechly suffered another concussion. Did Cam huff his way out of yet another press conference last season? You know he did. But all of that is prelude, of course. You didn’t come here just for a recap of yet another year of stolid Panther adequacy and head trauma. You came here to celebrate the end of this wrinkly old skinbag’s reign of terror:

not very good this year but here it is.

I think we have a shot at the Super Bowl.  Our front seven on D is very good, and I think we improved the secondary.  On offense, we have weapons at WR now and 2 backs who can get the job done.  The OL needs some help, but  "Moton and Roton" are looking good and we will get Williams back before the playoffs.  We have depth.

And the QB is pretty good.

It's definitely a satire piece.  Deadspin does it for all the teams.  Some are really funny.  The satire does cut through much of our homerisms effectively, but this year really lacks humor.  It's really ugly.  Then again, the whole Richardson saga and stigma that stunk around the team's treatment of women isn't funny.  It's also deserving of being called out.

We have to do better, maybe next year's will be more humorous?

(Memo to South Carolinians in the comments, don’t forget to tell me about Charleston! It’s just like Asheville, except they started the Civil War and it’s 9 billion degrees from March to October. Paradise!).

Was this yours? Or was it the one about protecting the 4th quarter lead?

By the way you know this is a joke and written about every team, right?

My take on jokes--they are best when funny.  I do not get mad if people do not get my jokes--I  think, "maybe I need to tell them better."  But that is just me.

    • First of all Sooners fan? Mods? Second if you think someone needs a specific reason to hate Texas you don’t watch real college football.
    • 100% even if rest of team is really talented if they march young out to be qb and he plays like he has for 90% of his starts the panthers have already lost doesnt even matter how good the rest of the team is or isnt and also makes it hard to even tell how good they are.  They need true competition for young this offseason.
    • It will be awesome to have an improved stadium to lose in I guess....   https://www.yahoo.com/news/panthers-file-rezoning-bank-america-111500840.html     The Carolina Panthers have taken another necessary step toward renovating their home of the present and future. Panthers Stadium, LLC, filed its rezoning site plan with the city of Charlotte on Monday, initiating an important — if mostly technical — step toward renovating Bank of America Stadium. The filings state that the rezoning relates “primarily to technical aspects associated with improvements to Bank of America Stadium,” and that the rezoning is required because “the current stadium zoning is out of date” for the team’s stadium renovation plans.   The planned stadium updates include new seats installed throughout the upper and lower bowls; stadium safety and security enhancements; a reimagined South Lawn Pavilion; upgraded restrooms; exterior enhancements (including LED video boards) and more. Planning for the stadium renovation project will continue through 2025, with construction starting in 2026 and the renovation’s conclusion in 2029, The Observer previously reported.
