The Pats would struggle to make the playoffs in the NFC this year. They are lucky to play in their cake division in a far inferior conference.

You are full of crap and everyone who liked  this post is wishful thinking. What’s your fact base? This is the New England Patriots. Give them the respect they have earned. There are three teams every single year for 15 years that have planned everything they do around beating the patriots and they have yet to do that with any consistency....

given them respect they are earned.

They are certainly worthy of praise for what they have done over the last 15 years, but place them in any NFC division right now, and I’m not sure they are better than any of the division winners, or many of the second place teams. Do they win in a division with the Lions, Packers, and Vikings? Or one with the Panthers, Saints, and Falcons? Or the Rams, Seahawks, and the 49ers? As inconsistent as the NFC East is, they wouldn’t be the best team in that division right now either. The Patriots are the best coached team in the league, have an incredible knack for getting the best out of fringe players, and certainly know how to win in the playoffs. But with a full NFC schedule, I believe they would look like a very different team.

You are full of crap but you are not the first person to doubt the New England Patriots.

Not getting the insults, just trying to debate. What division do you think they would win?

Last year, they won the conference. So, technically every AFC division. Also, I would say they have more than a punchers chance to have won all the divisions in the nfc seeing that they had a chance to win the Super Bowl on their last drive.

All I’m saying is there’s one team in the NFL that has set the standard for the last 15 years and we should not doubt year over year until they prove that they could not be that standard any longer.  Every single time the Panthers beat the patriots in the regular-season or preseason we should celebrate and be grateful.

Year in and year out the patriots have been the standard.

This win was definitely something positive to look forward to. Personally, I was more impressed with the o-line, pass protection and run blocking. I'm going to be less impressed if we don't give those guys a chance to lose their spots after keeping Cam upright for 4 quarters.

I agree but the patriots only rush three pretty much the entire night. I was more impressed by the way our front five handled their Blitz pressures.

Apparently reading comprehension is not your strong suit.  The original statement was that they would not likely win a division in the NFC....your answer was any division in the AFC.
