That was my thinking.  Is it a new rule that you don't have to be touched to be down anymore?

The radio feed was wrong then because that is not the rule.  The rule says that if you slide (doesn't matter if it's feet or head first), to give yourself up, then the play is marked at the spot the slide began.  However, in this case, Greg was sliding to make the catch, not give himself up.  So, in this situation, the rule doesn't apply.

Regardless, I read somewhere else that the ref thought he had been touched down.  They didn't keep the clock running because of that rule.  It was a mistake by the ref.
