Would have been much smarter to shut your mouth, and just go.

You don't have to tell everyone what your plans are.

Gotta disagree here, because word would inevitably have gotten out.

And then the NFL would take offense and extend the suspension.

I would only do it if it wasn't against the rules.  Should have typed that as well.

Read the notice from the NFL, call your agent to confirm you aren't breaking any rules, and take your family to the game.

If it was against the rules, he knew it, and he still released the statement, he was only trying to win fans back....otherwise just show up to the game.

It's a punishment for cheating. He got caught cheating. He should stay at home and take his punishment. It sets a good example for the younger players that look to him. Him not being in the stadium on game day isn't going to affect how anyone else plays. He's not going to channel some beast mode energy into the players from the stands. I love TD, but he needs to take his punishment and then get back on the field.

Another pathetic post.

Very disappointed in some of you pathetic Panthers "fans" that don't believe Thomas Davis's explanation. I'm sure you're the same people that will be selling your PSL tickets to Cowboys fans Week 1.

I don't trust a single athlete when it comes to failed drug or PED tests.

It does not matter what we believe.  He still had a violation of the rules.  Like it or not there are consequences.
