I hope this guy absolutely kills it at LT this season then we re-sign Daryl Williams at RT and have our long-term solution at OT wrapped up. Then we could just focus on finding a decent backup swing tackle and we're rolling.

This is what every Panther fan should be hoping and praying for.

I agree with those who are expressing some optimism for the long term if Moton can play ok or even well at LT.

Our immediate concern is the inexperience on the line and the lack of continuity so far due to all these injury upheavals. And of course our depth at T is nearly non-existent (Clausell?), and very thin at G (Mahon, and Larsen, but Larsen will primarily be slated as backup C).

But if we can survive the first few weeks and then get Daryl back healthy?... These injuries could be a blessing in disguise. Nothing changes re: Matt Kalil's ridiculous contract, sadly, but if we find serviceable to solid talent in Moton, Van Roten and even Sirles and Mahon the future could be promising.

But, for now we've still got to weather the immediate crisis and see how these guys who have been thrown into the fire do.

Many on here wanted Cam Robinson as our LT.

Moton is a tad shorter and shorter arms, but is quickers

Robinson-  6'6 320, 35 1/2 arms. He didnt bench, 7.81 3 cones, 4.82 20 yard shuttle

Moton- 6'5 319, 34 1/8 arms, 23 bench,  7.73  3 cones, 4.58 20 yard shuttle

4. Orlando Brown, OT, Baltimore Ravens

The Ravens have certainly been giving Brown every opportunity possible to prove himself. Including the Hall of Fame game, Brown has played a ridiculous 174 snaps already this preseason. He’s only been off the field for 36 of the Ravens’ 210 offensive plays so far. The Oklahoma product has showed himself well as he’s allowed only three hurries, zero hits and zero sacks in his 111 pass-blocking snaps.

Crazy enough, so is Orlando Brown. But, but, but, Jackson. But, but, not a position of need. But, but, Combine bad! But, but, Matt Kalil healthy! The Huddle's GMs>

My concern is that even if Moton and whoever is playing LG are playing pretty well, Ron is going to fug it all up and reinsert Matt Kalil and Amini as soon as they're healthy.

And i will go get my pitchfork and lead the charge for him to be fired because that would be the last straw.

Hey...you know that elite, highest paid, all-pro guard in the league playing for the Jaguars?

Never would have played if there wasn't and injury and Rivera's hand was forced.

The fact Rivera is forced to do something is the ray of sunshine.

Pure speculation. Dont try to pass this off as fact.

Stronger no doubt, but we needed someone like Brown as well in the Draft. We could've traded up for him, but nope. We chose ZERO line help. So, so, stupid.
