We’re scraping the bottom of the bin here but I think Luke Joeckel is still a free agent.

I think he played guard last in Seattle but obviously has tackle experience...

Which begs the question if the defense isnt elite, what is Rivera really good for? 

Game management? Players coach? Good to have and there are plenty of them, unfortunately they rarely win superbowls.

I think you have to slide Moton to the left. Patchwork RT and move on. We are likely to lose a bunch of games either way. I mean we are no worse than Bell/Nate Chandler situation.

I know loads of people want to trade but it's not as easy to do as you might think and we're not really in a good position to do it right now.

Making a panicked trade isn't likely to result in anything good. You pretty much laid out what the realistic options are. I hate to go there but it is what it is at this point.

Derek Newton was cut by Houston in April after spending all of last season on the PUP list.

Apparently he was cleared to start working out when Houston cut him...

I don't have the exact numbers, but Matt retiring would increase his cap hit this year. We might have to cut or restructure people just to get under the cap.
