Talking Patriots Game - How long do you play Cam?

How long do you play Cam Newton against a dirty Patriots team considering these two teams have a real distaste for one another?

1 Quarter- let him get a few reps.  He has in my opinion been a little more off than preseasons in the past.  Nothing to worry about, but just need a few reps

 

Or 2 sacks- if he gets hit 2-3 times on dropbacks off the bat.  Pull him

Considering our LT situation, I'd say just leave Cam in the locker room for this one

First half as long as the line holds up. If they are coming at him like the bulls in Pamplona, sit his ass.

We either play with the intensity that the oars do or cam stays in for maybe a series. Don't trust the pats to not play hard and dirty, treating it like a regular season game.

Screw what our objectives are for this preseason game...pats don't care and won't play along. We go in playing another game than the pats,  Rivera should be fired.

3 quarters. We aren't going to fix our o-line issues anytime soon. We need to see a fully gameplanned game with Cam and all the new weapons. Cam will get sacked all year it seems. A few extra now should not hurt. If Norv is what he is, and our offense is new and improved, faster releases and such...2 quarters or 3 shouldn't make much difference. Cam wont play only 2 quarters against Dallas or the other 15 teams.

Id save cam for game 1 against the Cowboys.  

Realistically though,  he will play a half of the game as long as he doesnt take any nasty hits.

I want to seen our offense start fast and put together at least two scoring drives. With new coordinator and playmakers, we need reps to improve.

I'd rather cam didn't start the season with another cracked ribs compliments of the pats in a game that didn't count again.

Preseason most teams go nowhere near 100%. Patriots treat preseason games like a playoff game against their biggest rival.

One or two possession in to the third, this is as close as you are going to get to game action before the season. you need Cam to look effective, efficient and manufacture at least 2 scoring drives
