Kalil visiting Dr. James Andrews

A couple thoughts. We can afford anyone we want. Most contracts year 1 are very cap friendly. The biggest issue is guranteed money which is the problem with Matt Kalil's contract.

Secondly, I think we could replace the hurt guys with decent options. The problem is depth. Imagine if any of these replacements get hurt. Our depth players are starting meaning our backups then their backups are backups to the backups. Now that is scary.

Actually we might notice a difference. We might actually notice an improvement. Only so much you have to do to be better than a speed bump.

Too bad Tepper can't move the Jerry Richardson statue. He can put that out there and it would be more effective.

Without Matt healthy there’s one logical option (that 100% won’t happen because Hurney)... you cut Ryan kalil tomorrow. Larsen starts at center and you go out and buy the 3 best offensive lineman available via trade or out of retirement

Your solution... is to cut a starter on the OL?

Hurney is going to have to give up a high pick next year to trade for someone. We're going to be down 3 starting o-lineman

LT is a thin position. I doubt anyone will have a quality trade. Our best hope is Williams comes back at some point. Matt sucks but moving Moton like a pool ball isn't good either. Our line is going to struggle with continuity.

Sucks, but we should be shopping a 3rd rounder for a capable OT right now.  Sucks we basically have to trade our Norwell comp pick, but if we're truly all in this year, Hurney HAS to make a move.

If Matt gets bad news, maybe he'll magically decide to take an injury settlement and give us some cap relief.

Could they not find Whitworth's house on Google maps? Or Beachum's. Can I take back everything I said about Okung? This is a dark day in Panther history.

JR has a way of doing things like that. When he has taken over our team has suffered greatly. Good news the Matt Kalil experiment will be all done in a few years.

The Matt Kalil and Russell Shepard signings are simply horrific beyond words.

Dollar Store Dave left the panthers some really terrible parting gifts. Bad free agent signings and maybe the worst draft class in the history of the team.

The only option I can think of is Donald Penn. However, I think we're overreacting a bit. Let's pray that Dr. Andrews doesn't find any major issue with Matt's knee.

Let's be real though, if it's not one thing it's another. Seems like Matt is never actually healthy or he for real just plain sucks ass.

I wish him the best on his long-term prognosis and a healthy post-football career.  But, I am also hoping our front office slides Dr. Andrews some extra change to give it to Matt straight, "I'm sorry Matt.  Your knees are structurally sound, but I think you need to retire...  you know, for long-term preservation and all.  Best of luck."

And the guy most here wanted, including me, Whitworth is still playing at a high level.

This is what fuging pisses me off so much. DG wants to be like oh I had to pay this trash injury prone dude all this money bc no one else was better and available! Fuuuuug you! Whitworth was clearly the best LT that FA class and is making the same money kalil is! It’s insane. Dude had 3ish more good years in him which would be just enough time for us to win a SB last year and this year before having moton replace him
