REPORT: DJ Moore in trouble with the law

For real though, too many people on here acting like it's no big deal, and I disagree. While he isn't beating women or murdering people, he's still being reckless and putting himself and others in danger needlessly. So while I'm not ashamed to have him on my team, I'm incredibly miffed at his stupidity and selfishness. I won't hate him forever and hope he learns from this mistake.

Then again I'm a bit oversensitive when it comes to stuff like this due to how many people I've known lose their life/quality of life due to driving related incidents. Driving isn't a right and too many people treat it like it is.

Yep, not gonna lie I've maxed out several vehicles on public roads. The current car is electronically speed limited at 145. Found that out on I-70 through western Kansas on the way back from buying it in Burlington, NC. A Toyota Prius can hit triple digits. 101 on a slight downhill in Montana. A Nissan Frontier Pro-4x can hit 112 in west Texas in a slight headwind.

A 1995 Honda Civic 4 door is governed at 117. It goes down to 114 automatically then slowly creeps back to 117. I was on the Autobahn so did that in the right lane so as to not impede traffic. :)

LOL @ that "curve". Some of y'all need to adjust your skirts in this thread. Your pussies are showing.

Wow....you're so cool.  101 in a Prius.  The fact that you are driving a Prius makes you a pussy regardless.

Damn a Prius can hit 100. You learn something knew every day. 100ish is usually where I’ll draw the line, but I get why people drive faster. And anyone whose gone that fast knows you pay extra attention to the road and surroundings. Much more so then the person going 65 and texting

And anyone with common sense knows that if you hit something or someone at that speed, the odds of killing yourself or someone increase exponentially.  And the faster you are going, the less reaction time you have.  This is just basic physics.

Speeding kills about as many people a year as drunk driving does, but doesn't have the social stigma.  It should.

I have hit 180 on 77.

Young, dumb, you know the rest.

No huge deal here.  Learn and move on.

Good thing you didn’t kill a family of 6,..

its no different than shooting a gun randomly into public,..

i was always an expert shot in the Marines, worst score was 238 of 250, best was 244. I don’t miss, so I have control right?

so if I start popping off shots at traffic, but I “know” I won’t hit anyone, how would you react?

its no different driving a 3000 pound missile down the highway and thinking you have some kind of “control”

its just dumb luck every single time if you don’t kill someone,..

if you want to kill your self, go drive on a private course,.. don’t know don’t care.

but all of us have the right to get to work and drive our families places without the terror of having someone kill us because they have some sort of romance or self entitlement to public endangerment.

its the same with assholes that drive drunk, weave through traffic, text while driving,..

it should be a felony.

Lighten up Francis.

And, no, speeding is not the same as shooting randomly in public. How do you even think that's true? Also he was speeding at 3am, so while you're right that speeding is reckless and dangerous, don't equate it to driving over 100 downtown at noon.

Obviously the faster you’re going the less reaction time you have. That doesn’t really change anything though. If you’re going 80 or 110 and someone swerved into your lane you’re going too fast to do anything about it either way. 80 is a deadly speed just as much as 110 and the person driving with their head up their ass would be at fault not the person speeding on a highway. If you want to be able to react to everything perfectly in a split second I suggest staying off the highway and never going over 45 mph
