I can’t believe the people downplaying this. Going that fast, in a work zone especially, is how people get killed. That part of the highway isn’t exactly the yellow brick road right now. Cannot imagine going through there at 100+. If an ordinary citizen is caught doing that they are looking at jail time for sure or a massive bail, which he will be able pay. Kids need to learn how precious life is and potential consequences for their actions.

Cop said he was respectful and courteous, so at least he wasn’t belligerent about it. That could help.

He'll be paying a nice fine, probably get community service, which could be good anyway as it is an organizational goal....just not as a means of punishment for breaking laws.
