Deshaun Watson: 'More accurate, faster, elusive than Cam Newton'

Watson once beat the poop out of the Gamecocks with a blown ACL.  Watson is tough too.   Hell, the year he won the natty I’m sure he got a concussion on the 2-3rd play of the game as Bama tried to take him out. 

Everyrhing doesn’t have to be, well if one guys is the X the other can’t be.  

Both are great players.  There are however are nothing alike.   They don’t really compare as players.

Ditto. I like Watson, he’s easy to pull for. People need to direct their criticism towards a Theeseman and idiotic hot takes like his, not at Watson.

Why would Cam ever not like dealing with the media? I cant quite put my finger on it.

Somebody compared Watson to Cam so now he's going to be hated on like Rg3  Wilson and Kap.....

And vice versa how other fans hate on Cam when he's compared to other simular Qbs..

Watson and Cam aren't even the same type of players

If Watson gets more accurate I would say A-Rod style wise

That sht was so infuriating. RG3 was in a baby offense with easy throws to pad his stats. And he had the audacity to “not be compared to him”.  

Cam has been through the sht with this team. Put his body on the line time and time again. Won an MVP and has carried his offense for years. Never hated on anybody else. Just plays his game and win his way. Would have won a a super bowl if it wasn’t for the NFL taking us out of the game.  Cam is Brett Favre with legs. A gun slinger with the god given talent  and size to run when he wants to.

I think I’ve maybe heard Cam do two interviews. I listen to a lot sports talk radio, mainly national shows. I heard him on Dan Patrick like 2-3 years ago when he came in on set, the other was when he was on set for WFNZ at panthers training camp I think last year. 

I don’t blame him one bit. I also understand why coaches like Saban, Pop, Belicheck, Bobby Knight, etc - why they get so short tempered with the press. Even the honest, good media people become victims of circumstance. I strongly dislike Bobby Knight as well but this is one the few things where i can offer him a little of support. 

I feel like a lot of the media is based on trying to “hook & bait” people. Cam Newton hot takes are low hanging fruit.
