Was hoping it was Jordan leaving. As much as I hate Persons voice,  I will never forgive Jordan for making a national scene about Cam's comments. She does great work (and i wont comment on her age or beauty like others have) but her work is outstanding. Yet...she did that to Cam~~~

She didn't do anything to Cam. Cam said something Stupid and the National Media ran with it. 

She was disrespected by Cam and took offense. Everyone else blew it up.

I think it's time to move on, Cam seems to have, as has Jourdan.

It's all about pay. I guarantee you he'll be making at least 75% more at The Athletic than he was previously. I don't know which job is more secure though: a job at a newspaper in an industry that's dying or at a new-ish site that's still receiving the bulk of its money via VC financing.

Do you guys remember how engaging Steve Reed was before he joined the AP? Maybe they'll hire him to replace Joe. Although, knowing how strapped the Observer is for cash, they'll probably hire someone that just graduated college.

It's actually sad that ESPN can't find anyone better than him to cover the Panthers. Someone fresh out of J-School would be way better
