No, we just have an actual scheme now. We are going to see a night and day difference with this offense, similar to the Rams last year. People really underestimate what a good OC can do for your offense.

I was gonna say the same thing.  Shula was great at "outsmarting himself", by running ridiculous play designs.  Like, he'd pull the guard to get to the second level and block a safety, have a receiver come over and block a DT, and sir purr would have to line up against the opposing teams LE.  the "scheme" was so awful.  Yes, it'd work if everyone performed exactly perfect with no issue involving the idea of doing things that they can't physically do.  Norv is gonna make a monumental difference this season.

Yep. He thought he was some mastermind genius, when every DC in the league knew he was just an idiot. I remember a certain game last year (eagles game), NOBODY knew where the hell to go. O-line literally blocked nobody, WR's running into each other or in the same area, Cam miscommunication with his WRs, etc. That was pretty much during Shula's whole time here.

Run blocking off tackle to the right is money.  Turner-Moton will be solid.

Pass blocking on the blind side is and will continue to be the issue.  Also, Ryan K. is average these days.

It's really Turner holding things together at this point and Van Roten is performing admirably.
