Lol people are reading way too much into this trying to judge the level of marketing brilliance or lack thereof (kind of reminds  me of the old pointy elbow comments) or Tepper doing us a favor/throwing us a bone. He's just having fun and trying to build a little excitement about just one of what I'm sure will be a lot of cool changes coming.

I'm up for anything that makes NFL football fun again. Midfield logo, letting the past ownership just quietly disappear from the scene, treating vets and rookies with respect, and let's just let all that anthem ruckus go away.

Let's have fun, let's play lights out and let's bring home the Lombardi this year.

But the fact that they filmed something like this and posted it on social media makes it pretty obvious that this is going to happen.

It also shows that besides marketing savvy, Tepper has a bit of a flair for the theatrical.

We really do have a fun owner. Here's hoping he's also a great one.

NFL shield at midfield was a JR thing and it will be removed for just this reason alone. Tepper is using this as a marketing tool to win over players and fans and it will be effective.
