I highly doubt he’s worse than Keyvon Seymour but whatever you want to tell yourself

He may not be worse, but he's also not really any better. And he's probably more expensive since he's been around for a while.

I get that we're bad at corner, but signing another bad corner doesn't really help that.

Not disagreeing, but it’s never stopped us in the past.

Yeah but if he's hardly much better, again how does signing him make a difference?

It isn't about what I want to tell myself.  It's about you being illogical.

Keyvon Seymour is likely trying to survive roster cuts and battle to be the 4th or 5th CB, both of which rarely see the field in our playbook. Only way he sees the field is with injuries. I highly doubt Scandrick would be content being the 4th or 5th CB on the team, so no point in burning money.

He’s better than Seymour. Saying he’s not much better in a game of inches means your not trying much harder to win. We need every inch to win the south

Dude, the difference between Scandrick and Seymour is not a NFC South title.  Are y’all joking?

They both suck.  1 is already on the team and 1 would cost extra money to sign.  It isn’t like we are talking about an average starter.  Scandrick sucks.  Signing him won’t decide if we win the division.  It’ll just be like going from trash to trash.

What?

Seymour is a Rivera guy and almost certainly garuanteed a roster spot.

Rivera will also blindly start him as the #2 CB.

he definitely isn’t getting cut.

With our current cap situation, anyone we can sign is highly unlikely to help us.  Conversely, anyone who could help us we can't afford to sign.  Unless something radically changes with our roster, this is where we are.  The best we can do is hope some of our current players start playing out of their skin.

One has been starting for years and brought in to be a starter from multiple teams. The other is Seymour. And yes every little bit does count when trying to win a title. Some trash is worse than other trash. You act like they are exactly the same person same speed same age same tendencies and drafted in the same range.
