Chris Gamble was a good CB but wasn't close to a shutdown or even a pro bowl CB.

debatable. Gamble closed out his career with some really strong seasons.

Not like you have to have the personality of a CB to be a good CB, high level CB. Xavier Rhodes and Nnamdi Asomugha both come to mind.

Honestly,  that is a perfect comparison. Players solid,  not spectacular and in this NFL Gamble would be a good #2 CB

Sure, Tillman has three FF and two interceptions which likely swayed the decision, but Gamble's stat is far more impressive: QB's have a 45.8 QB rating when throwing against him. According to Football Outsiders he also ranked 6th in the NFC in success rate only allowing receivers to get a catch 37% of the time, along with extremely low target, YAC and yards allowed numbers; Charles Tillman didn't even make the list.

Don't you just love people who put down/diss good players in an attempt to back their bs opinion?

Thank God the huddle has you to do that!

Bradberry is a 2nd round pick and a starter in the NFL.  I don’t think he is elite but I do think he is capable and solid. Does he have to show something?  IDK.  I think this time next year he is still a solid player.

Butler is a question mark that was playing in the shadows of KK and Star.  Now he is playing in the shadow of KK and Poe.

Bust?  No.  Just a luxury pick at the time that has paid off as much as we’d hoped.
