If Ryan can stay healthy then that will do a lot to maintain consistency for us. That lets Larsen float around the guard positions

I agree, but Kalil is always hurt now, so when he's out, tbay takes the flexibility of having Larsen as depth for G. We badly needed to address the interior and we didn't this year

Yeah, this is a real concern.  If Larsen is our starting C (at least some games) and Van Roten is our starting LG, who on Earth is our depth at any position?

Sirles for T or G?

Bisnowaty or Clausell at T?

Mahon at G?

But if Larsen were to be injured, presumably you'd have to move VR to C, meaning you're weaker at 2 positions. 

This is what messed us up so badly in 2016.  We had no backup LT, so sent Remmers over there and started Williams at RT, getting weaker at both spots.

After seeing Thursday's game, I have some confidence we can string together an adequate starting line. (Kalil, VanRoten, Kalil, Turner, Moton) But the depth is pretty iffy, especially if Larsen has to be kept focused on C. We really need Sirles to step up.

I think the line is going to be fine. Van Roten and Mahon are playing super hungry and Moton is playing how we all expected him to. Larsen is going to be special once he steps in as the full time starter at C. Good job on Hurney for locking him in for the near future
