Panthers safety Damian Parms has a shoulder injury and won't return to the game.

Tonight's injury update: Panthers cornerback James Bradberry was held out for precautionary reasons with a groin injury. Linebacker Andre Smith pulled a hamstring early in the game.

Bradberry with the groin injury should sit out till its healed. That's a nagging injury.

Agreed. We can't afford to be without him. He's the only CB on the roster who has shown he has NFL caliber ability and even then, he's a year removed from showing that.

I think he has a legit shot but if it's going to linger we'll probably IR him to protect him. Rivera sounded really happy with the backup LBs in general in the post-game presser. If that's the case, we should probably be shopping David Mayo for DB help. He'll likely get a chance to compete for a starting position elsewhere next year so we're going to lose him anyway.

Worth remembering that Hurney is known for having a fast trigger finger when it comes to injured reserve.

IR wouldn't surprise me. Way to basically redshirt him for the year. Only downside is I don't know how it affects his ability to be able to practice. He ain't making the team except for PS

Almost certain you can't practice if you're on IR. If he's not going to be able to show anything in preseason, then I doubt anyone would try to steal him but then again, you never know.
