Geesh, I know he seems to get hurt every other play but man when he’s on the field he seems to always be open and I don’t have a problem with his hands. I remain behind the pick because he seems to be exactly what the doctor ordered in the slot. That said wright and Co. have done nothing to succeed the right to be the number 2-3 wr... I wonder will he even get a shot at this point to prove he can win the job?

I think we should have either Samuel or Moore on the field all season.  We simply always need to have a that threat on the field.  Too often last year we were basically running an all TEish offense.

Yeah and after missing the first part of camp too this was a very welcome sight. Very excited about our group of WRs. Every single one of them has things to like. Funch, Moore, Smith, Wright, Samuel and Byrd. Compare that to our WRs against the Aints in the playoffs last year...

Curtis Samuel is actually a really good WR and the Panthers better use him a lot.

Its Wright, Moore, and Samuel as our top 3 WR

 

Funchess just hasnt shown anything this camp.

 

Jackson gets a ton of shout oits of the camp he's having.  But you seeing a common theme, multiple Jackson breakups on who else?  Funchess, and no one else. 

He slipped on a comeback route tonight and id give him a pass if this hasnt happened multiple other times.  And the fact that Moore and Samuel havnt had that problem tonight

Torry Smith is also there who didn’t play tonight I don’t think so thay clusters things up even more. So the team is gonna have funchess, Moore,Smith,Wright, samuel/ Byrd. His margin for error or even getting injuried is very small. He could easily slip in the depth chart and never recover or be traded or released. That said I love his talent and want him to win the number 3 job.

Yeah the more the new guys step up the less chance of us keeping Funch.  Can't really see us paying big money to a non #1 WR when we've got so many cheaper productive options.
