Is Seymour that awful?

Seymour is basically Darryl Worley minus the run support. As bad as Worley was in coverage, at least he was a really solid tackler. I felt like he may have been a safety that we were playing out of position.

Seymour is just flat out awful. Jackson needs to be given every opportunity to earn that spot.

Well, this performance certainly affected my view of him lol.  I rallied for him last season bc in comparison to Worley, he looked like a starter when he played.  But, he got picked on worse than Worley ever did, and he did nothing to dissuade them from continuing to do so.  He looked absolutely horrible...  i was thinking about giving DRC a call during that whole first two drives.  Ooowee mayne.

I get the desire to start Jackson, but if you do that you better be willing to accept that he'll have a steep learning curve. Defensive back is not one of the easier college to pro transitions, especially these days.

it's possible that starting Jackson could be a better choice than starting Seymour, but you have to be prepared for the very real possibility that Jackson will get picked on (and burned) a fair amount in his rookie season.

Panthers went all out to fix the WR group in the off-season. It’s fixed. Next season they better be the secondary because the saints and falcons are going to open up the panthers collective buttholes this year

Sheesh, we've used, what, 6 draft picks and how many free agents over the last 3 years?  Apparently mediocre CBs are hard to find.
