There are only a handful of players on the Panthers who we wouldn't ever trade and Smitty is one of them. There's absolutely no way there is any truth to this rumor, local media is just stirring poo up to get attention. Nothing more.

Would be an easy mistake to make for a broadcaster, WR Steve Smith works for either the Panther or the Giant.

I really, really couldn't see us trading Smitty, especially to a team that we will face in a few weeks. If we did, it's time for Katie to bar the door, because there's going to be one helluva fight brewing.
