Trading Smith at the end of the season is a real possibility.

Trading Smith during the season would only happen if Smith is demanding a trade. (Possible)

If Smith is demanding a trade and the Panthers would be willing to trade him it would not be to a team that is on the upcoming schedule.

So I can buy Smith possibily being traded but not to the Dolphines.
