Larsen is very good in pass protection, but Kalil (when healthy) is a better run blocker. Larsen has really good hands and feet and I'd love to see him get a chance at the LG spot. I think Van Roten should be given a few reps there too.

The Panthers have reached an agreement with center/guard Tyler Larsen on a two-year extension that is expected to be signed today, per source. A big move considering this is the last year for center Ryan Kalil, plagued by injuries the last two seasons. and because of the injury situation at left guard with Amini Silatolu suffering a torn meniscus. The Charlotte Observer first reported the extension.
