How low is the bar for Mahon?

I would be happy if he shows improvement and becomes serviceable.

The question is how high a bar RR sets?  Amini will heal. How good will Mahon need to be to keep the job?

No, the bar is set high. There better be no let down especially for  a prominent run team.

He just needs to understand his assignments. Amini was bad when it came to blitz pickup and handling stunts. If Mahon can do that, he will be the starter even if Amini recovers.

I mean honestly it’s almost impossible to be worse than Amini so I’d say my expectations are to at least not be a literal pancake dummy on the field.

How about just stay on your feet and you'll immediately be an upgrade. I was more afraid of Amini falling back into Cam and buckling Cam's legs than anything tbh.
