No way should we trade anything for a guard. A few will certainly be cut and even if not it's not worth trading away anything if real value.

Our depth at the LG position right now includes two undrafted rookie free agents. That is unecceptable for a playoff calibre team.

Panthers LG Amini Silatolu is week to week after undergoing surgery to repair a torn meniscus.

Week to week is optimistic, but it's what the team is feeding the media for now. Silatolu had been penciled in as Andrew Norwell's replacement. Now the job is more wide open, with Jeremiah Sirles perhaps the top candidate to start if Silatolu isn't ready for Week 1. The situation is far from ideal for the Panthers' running game.

Torn meniscus is really vague. Medial or lateral, what type of tear, and what portion of the meniscus is something I’d be curious to know. The inner third has terrible blood supply. “Week to week” might indicate that it isn’t too significant.

pretty sure he won't be available next week, but evaluate all you want.

It's sad we have to be more happy that he's hurt than sorry due to our head coach's inability to have an unbiased eye when making player evaluations.

Time to trade an asset for a legitimate starting guard in this league. Not sure who or where, but keeping Cam upright needs to be priority #1 moving forward.

A torn meniscus hurts like a mother. And it isn't really repairable as all they can do is get in there and clean up the ragged edges to cut down on snagging and maybe scrape out any arthritis buildup they run across while they are in there.

He'll be off his feet for at least a week and working with crutches for a couple more, then a month with a cane, maybe less with good PT.

I hope the young man heals up, that's a heck of an injury for a big man.

So, like I stated earlier in year the key to offensive success is gonna hinge on the usage of 2TE/RB set with all the injuries to the OL.

Germain Ifedi - Seattle

James Carpenter - Jets

Ted Karras - Patriots

Germain Ifedi has about warmed out his welcome up there.

about to be demoted.

if someone can light a fire under him, he has all the talent.  And we have a OL coach that can.

id flirt a 6th or 7th to them

I’ll take him for depth but don’t give up on Mahon that’s  the guy.

Ifedi has been arguably the worst player in the entire league across all positions the past 2 years. No thanks.
